I tried 'If Me.Dirty Then'. After running the code, nothing happens. What could be wrong?

Did you check the Dirty flag?

You can take a look at:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/api/access.form.dirty(property)

You can also use the 'On Dirty' method
