this seems to be happening as a result of Windows 10 build 1803 (and later) – perhaps you can roll your version back?
If not, this article by Daniel Pineault has suggestions. One way is to disable leasing, which will make the application slower. There are two ways to do this. The easier way affects all your applications. There is also a method to just disable leasing for one particular application.
ITYIPMan has another way, creating SMBCacheFix.reg
