hi Kevin,

Command buttons are not affected by AllowEdits because they do not hold
data. AllowEdits can be used to enable or disable all controls, but
realize that it affects unbound controls too, so you can't have unbound
combo boxes to look up records. If you need some controls that can be
changed, consider looping and changing the Locked property.
