Although I am no Access wiz probably a table with the tips you've entered into a table pop up in a form randomly with the rnd function.

That is exactly what I want. Whe the user starts the database a tip form pops up with the tip of the day or something like that.

I would put yourself in the user's chair (or ask them) to figure out how they would use the system. 


How about a date field so you can view new tips?

Are your subjects the same as categories for searching?

Are some tips related to other tips?

Have you considered adding a keywords table?

I would to create a form that contains tips for the database. I created the following table:

tblTips

TipID

TipSubject

TipDescription

TipPic


Is that the appropriate structure or should I try something different. the TipPic is a ShortText field whch will contain the path to a snapshot picture. But I am not sure how to implement this...


Any ideas, would be a great help.
