... and the last step:
6. then exit PowerShell
ps> exit
This was the first time I used PowerShell, so it took awhile to figure this out. I almost wrote my own code to scrape the page and get the titles but persevered with PowerShell:)
~crystalthanks for posting, Bill
want to add that you can download the PowerShell script (look down the page) to get all the titles. It has a TXT extension which must be changed to PS1
I ran it* -- a few were not successful, but it did download 3.4 GB of books! I am not sure when I will get time to read them though, lol
* to work, I had to open PowerShell using "Run as Administrator" and then give myself permission to run the script. Before executing the script:
1. make C:\Downloads\Ebooks -- unless you edit the script for the books to go somewhere else
2. give permission:
ps> Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
3. then change directory to where script is:
ps> cd c:\MyPath\
4. then run using:
ps> .\Eligman_DownloadAll_PowerShell.ps1
5. after running, which took awhile, I removed permission to run scripts:
ps> Set-ExecutionPolicy Restricted
