Yes, of course. (I simply didn't want someone to spend time trying to troubleshoot. I greatly have benefited the expertise in this group.)
When I try to enter a new record in my main form, the subform for projects is already populated with all project numbers. How can I keep this blank until the user selects the projects they want to associate with the new need? I'm not sure what is cuasing the subform to populate in this manner.
The issue was that I had "Filer on Empty Master" on the subform properties set to "No." When I changed this to yes, the combo box in the subform was blank for a new record, and ready to accept new values.---In MS_Access_Professionals@yahoogroups.com, <wrmosca@...> wrote :

Nevermind. I found the setting I needed to change in properties.
