Hey John,  I have a report that is getting resurrected after a few years (other story) that has subreports.

To accommodate changes, I've messed other things up and am getting the standard parameter prompt so I've looked for the queries, the fields not bound correctly, sorting and grouping, and am at a loss.  I can preview the subreports individually but the preview of the main report gives me the param prompt.

That must be what I'm doing.  I'm typing "application." and expecting to see "saveastext" for some reason.

Liz-

SaveAsText is a hidden system method.  If you try it in the Immediate Window, as soon as you type a space after the method, it will show you the parameters of the method.  But I don't understand why using SaveAsText will help you find an object in a report.  What are you trying to do?
