Re: [MS_AccessPros] Keeping Threads intact

thanks Bill -- didn't know that as I switched to viewing messages with Thunderbird when Yahoo quit allowing sorting in the free interface.

You can use Outlook, Thunderbird, or other email application to view messages from this group too ~ and then you can sort and search them better  too.

If you don't have Outlook, or don't want to use it, get Thunderbird here:

https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/

Another advantage of Thunderbird over Yahoo is that you don't get the unwanted images for links, which some have complained about since they make the messages bigger.

warm regards,
crystal

Hi gang

We've recently hit a common problem with thread responses. Yahoo, in its great wisdom has made including post bodies with responses an option. In other words, if you reply online you need to manually click on the "Show History" link at the bottom of the text box.

So a lot of our threads are breaking up and not showing the whole thread. I am one of the biggest offenders because I usually respond online and quite frequently forget to click on that "Show History" link in the reply box.Old age is a bear!

Maybe someday Yahoo will realize the error of its ways, but until that please try to remember to click that link  if you normally reply online so we can see the whole thread.

I thank you. My constituents thank you.
