Steve
The beauty of vbMAPI is that it does not require any registration. The classes
access the system. Note:...This is not freeware. I don't endorse products you
have t pay for, but it might solve your problem.
Your success might hinge on whatever virus scanner is installed. A SMTP protocol
will not work with any firewall that blocks port 25.
This is something I really want to follow up on. Please appraise us as you go.
Regards,
Bill

Bill:
The thing is , to my surprise, the Access VBA calling Outlook 2010 IS working,
with no prompts, dialogs or anything.
I am just too jaded to be optimistic that it will work at a different location,
so am asking what gotchas are coming my way.
I never use 3rd party, I just try to do everything in CDO (and now I can't on
Win7). And I cant use 3rd party on this project.
thanks,
Steve
