[MS_AccessPros] Best way to learn advanced Access design

I moved into a position with just a few simple databases. Over the years as people have seen the value of databases, I have had to create more and more complex databases and now I'm up to managing 20 MS Access 2003 databases. My users are getting more savvy and keep wanting detailed grouped reports that take me a lot of time to design.

I read the messages in this group and it always seems like someone is doing something cool with programming and advance techniques that I don't understand. Also, this group has been a big help resolving issues.

So what I'm wanting to know, is what is the best way to learn complicated techiniques (dare I say common sense techniques)? I have books that I'm reading (shout out to John V for MS Office Access 2003). One of the issues is I can't get my office to pay for training so I'm looking for training on my own.

Thanks,
John
