Without seeing the spreadsheet, all I can say is yes you can import it (if you run into any problems with it not liking any special characters in the dates that are the column headers, you could possibly need to change the format of the column names), and in Access it will be the same with dates at the field names after those first four fields/columns.
Whether that will work for what you want to do or not, I'm not sure until I know what you need to do with the data..
Hope that helps,
Toby

Subject: [AccessDevelopers] Importing Excel DataGood Afternoon,
It has been a while since I have had to deal with this so I am claiming that I am rusty, and not old and forgetful. I have an excel spreadsheet that I need to import into Access. My problem is that the data is set up with the first four columns contain the followinf headings;
Dept Description Source and then the rest of the columns are dates.
I will need to import or link to this data based on the date, but I am not sure if it will work with the column headings being the date.
I am hoping that I am making a mountain out of a mole hill so I look forward to your responses.
