Hi:
A couple of weeks ago, I asked about converting queries from Access
SQL to Reporting Services SQL. All I need is the queries, as the
tables are being brought into the customized SSRS application, and no
forms, macros, or Access reports are needed.
One suggestion was to use the upsizing wizard. I can do this on a
copy, to retain all of the current version. I could then pull over
the converted SQL code from there to the new application.
Question: the Access database has a number of tables which are
actually linked to a SQL Server database. Is running the upsizing
wizard going to affect those, or anything outside the Access database
copy? Is there need to do a database split first?
Thanks,
Gary
