RE: [MS_AccessPros] Help with date field sort

Katrina-

Do you mean the Agenda Items report? Simply go into Sorting and Grouping and
add a sort on the Agenda Scheduled field descending (Z to A) and put that ahead
of the sort on date.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Help with date field sort

Hello all!

I have created a database for staff tasks and agenda items. In my database I
have a report for agenda items that i PDF and send to department managers. What
I would like to do is have those agenda items that have already been scheduled
and have a date filled in to be displayed first in ascending order, and the
agenda items that have not yet been scheduled and do not have a date filled in
yet to appear afterwards in ascending order based on the item name. Is it
possible to do this, and if so, how do I go about having my report sorted this
way?

I have uploaded my database in the Assistance Needed folder under Senior Staff
Action Requests.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Katrina
