Sorry to let this thread sit so long. I guess our friends in Europe and India are taking some time off.

Read/write is not enough. She has to have create/delete as well. When data is updated, added or deleted an LDB (Locking file) must be created. When all users are out of the database that file is killed. Without create/delete, she is for all intents in a Read-Only mode.

And you say you split the database. Each user has his own copy of the front end on his local drive, right?
