[MS_AccessPros] Drop Down in Continuous Form

 

I have a subform set to "Continuous Forms" view and in the detail section of controls one is a drop down. The records are displaying fine in the detail section. When clicking on the drop down the rowsource is displaying fine and highlights the item list as normal. However, I am unable to select anything from the drop down. It acts as though it is read only. The control source for the drop down is set to the field in the table. the control is loaded in the On Got Focus event.

Does anyone know why the drop down will not allow me to select an item?
