[MS_AccessPros] Bound Control

 

Hello,
I am working on small database for work and I need some clarity on how to use a bound control. Heres my question.

If I have one table with 6 columns(all Text box controls) and a second table with a combo box control, how do I "bind a column from the first table. Given the tables are properly connected I get confused on the bound column, Column widths, column count.

If I use the column count of 6, with column widths of 0,1,1,0,0,1; Is the first NON 0 column, concidered bound column 1 and the second NON 0 column concidered bound column 2, and the last NON 0 column concidered bound column 5? I just want to get the navigation correct.

Also Is the bound column going to be the data that will be presented in any reports that I will need to produce?
