Tiffany-
Just a guess, but if the Record Source of the subform is not updatable, then it
will be blank when there are no records matching what's in the outer form. If
the outer record is on a new record, then you should have no matches in the
subform.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Subform not showing up in new window?
Hi,
I created a form with a subform and another subform embedded in it and it works
fine.
But when I go to another form and click on the New Asset button the form opens
but the subforms are not there.
What am I doing wrong?
