John,Remembering suggests the listbox is not bound (doesn't have anything in its Control Source property). You use this typically for allowing users to select criteria for forms and/or reports. Storing is when you want the selected value to be stored in a field in the form's Record Source. Duane HookomMS Access MVP

I am setting up a listbox on a form that is based on a Query. What's the difference between "Remember the Value for later use" and "Store the Value in this field"?
