David-
Design View for reports is *almost* WYSIWYG, but it can be affected by your
printer driver. You could try switching the report to some other printer and
then look at it again. Or perhaps take screen snapshots of Design and Print
Preview and post them in 2_AssistanceNeeded.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Objects Shift Down in Print Preview
Great Day, I have a report that prints an invoice, and in Design View all of
the objects are where I want them to be placed on the Print Preview page.
However, when I switch from Design View to Print Preview, a number of the
objects have shifted out of alignment. They have shifted down.
Three text boxes have shifted about ¾ of an inch out of a box that they are
supposed to be sitting in;
A subreport and its associated label have shifted down about ¾ of an inch;
and
A text box has shifted down about ¼ of an inch.
I've looked at the report in Design View and do not see any "orphan" text
boxes or labels. I can't figure it out, so any assistance will be greatly
appreciated.
