For my shipment tracking database I have an Items table that will hold all items shipped. After data for each item is entered, the item is placed in the shipping container. this process continues until the box is full and ready to be shipped.
At that point, I need to create a manifest for that specific box, add the Box number that will be concatenated to the Collection name abbreviation and print out the report.
I have tables for items, manifest, and collection names, but am unsure how to make it all work together. I'd like the user to be able to click a button to open the Manifest form to create the concatenated field of manifest number and collection abbrev.
I'll need to be able to store each manifest and retrieve them at a later date. I know how to create a report and open it from a command button on a form, but unsure of how to create and save a report using a button.
