Which version of Access? You should be able to open Access and if it doesn't
repair itself on open, ask it to repair itself. How you do that depends on the
version.

My sons Access project was open by accident using another program. The box was
checked "always use the selected program to open this kind of file". How can I
get it to open in Access again for him? He has Windows 7 on his computer.
