John-

I suspect you want the number part to always be the same length. To do that,
use the Format function:

ConcatFld: [Abbreviation] & Format([SeqNo], "0000")

That will take your sequence number and make it always appear as 4 digits. The
number 1 will appear as 0001.

The Number field is just an auto-sequence field from 1 to 1000 using
instructions located here

The lookup field are Abbreviations of Collection Names. I need to label each box
shipped with a sequential number and a unique identifier, i.e. the abbreviation.
