Hi John,
You must have some way of keeping track. You will need,
at the very least, a Ship Date for a Shipment.
You will probably need some sort of control on the
filling and storing of boxes to keep track of the
components that go in them.
It's a bit like Production Control where you have to
keep track of Components, Bills of Materials and
Assemblies.
