RE: [MS_AccessPros] from a new-bie, using design view for reports

Control sources can't be table/query!field
You can possibly use DLookup() to pull a value. I'm not sure why you don't use DCount().

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] from a new-bie, using design view for reports

ok, I set up a report wherein the area 'page header' i place a text box where i expect a value from a dcount to appear. The query works fine. However when I set the box to =[DbdUnqQuery]![TotalNoU] i get a ?Name error. this is probably a really stupid issue but yours truly cannot find my way out of here. help please.
