if [DbdUnqQuery]![TotalNoU] is not in your fieldlist, then you cannot use it (View, Field list from a toolbar interface. Click the fieldlist icon on the right side of the Design tab fr the ribbon interface (Add Existing Fields in Access 2010)
I suspect that in the form you will refer to it as TotalNoU. The only reason to include the query it came from is if you have 2 fields using the same name, in which case I would be suspicious of your logic
If TotalNoU is in your fieldlist, you can also choose it from the combobox dropdown in the Controlsource property. You only use = if you are putting an equation in that the form must calculated. It sounds like the value is already calculated, s the form uses it as a calculated field.
