I know there has to be an easy way to do this, however, I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.
I have a report that has a form open with a list of 100 measures (such as AAA, AAB, AAC, BBA, BBB, etc). The user either types the measure "nickname" in or scrolls down to the correct measure. Once they select the measure, the report opens and displays the necessary data.
Now for the tricky part, the user also needs to have the option to select a group of measures for the same report. Here is why it is tricky, each measure might have several subcategories under it for example:
AAA Measure 1
AAA Measure 2
AAA Measure 3
The report works perfectly when the user selects AAA Measure 2 for example, however, I cannot figure out an easy method to allow them to select all of the AAA's at one time. I don't have control over the measure names, and there is no rhyme or reason to their naming. Some measures might not have a subcategory, while some measures might have 10 subcategories.
Any idea how I can display an easy way for the user to select an entire measure?
