Open the query in design view. Switch to SQL view. Copy the SQL and save to a text file. Send the text file to the recipient.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Send a Query
Hello -
Is there a way to send a query (not the results, the query itself) in an email to someone? That person will paste the query in their list of queries.
Thank you,
Celeste
