RE: [MS_AccessPros] Run time and right clicking

Oky doky Stuart. Now how do I actually run this? I tried the right click from the accdr and I still get the little blank square box. Am I missing something?

Hi Liz,

I don't know if this is the best way but here is what I did (I found this on
the net somewhere I can't remember, might have been here??):

Create a Function in a module:

Function FiltMen()

On Error Resume Next

CommandBars.ExecuteMso ("FiltersMenu")

End Function

Then create a macro I called FiltMenuFunc:

Action: RunCode Arguments: FiltMen()

Then created another macro I called FiltMenu:

Action: AddMenu

Menu Name: MyRightClick

Menu Maacro Name: FiltMenuFunc

Status Bar Text: My Edit

Then on the form you want it on go to the form properties:

Shortcut Menu: Yes

Shortcut Menu Bar: FiltMenu

You right click on any field and it gives you most of the filtering
functions.

Hope this helps

Cheers,

Stuart

Greetings pros, I just learned that creating a run time version (accdr)
loses right click capability.

I searched on line and see that there was some bug that was fixed but not in
the run time version... is that correct?

Does anyone know how to give someone right click access or if they know that
I'm missing something here?
