Thanks Bill.
I will be aware of the"bitness".
Now I find that I can purchase MS Off Prof 2016 at a very big discount through the hup program for my personal use. My company will be installing MS Off Prof 2013 onto all of our machines by the end of 2016 (yes, they have to check it out and make sure everything is copacetic with 33k+ machines) so we are always a bit behind.
My question now is if I purchase the 2016 and modify my database to the 2016 version on my personal machine, will I have any problems conforming to the 2013 access software.
The reason I am asking is that someone, per my manager, said that a 2010 dbase has problems on the 2013 software i.e. more that one user cannot be in it at the same time... Do you know that to be true? What about 2016?
Thank you for all of your help,
Celeste
