Since you subscribe to Office 365, you may already have the ability to do web databases. If not, getting a high-enough subscription level would be cheaper than a Windows Server with Sharepoint. Alternatively, you may be able to download a trial virtual machine from MS with Windows Server and Sharepoint (I haven't done that in a while; I am not sure what they are offering as trials right now).
