RE: [MS_AccessPros] error - OLE Server May Not Be Registered -

Denny-

What's the type of picture you're trying to insert? (.jpg, .bmp …?) What
program opens when you double-click a file of that type in Windows Explorer? If
it's not an editing program that supports OLE, you need to find one that does on
your machine and register it as the default in Windows Explorer.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] error - OLE Server May Not Be Registered -

I have an Windows 7 64 bit Access 2010 Data Base. The original data was created
in Access 2000 on a Windows XP system and was converted to Access 2010 when I
got my new PC in December 2112.

I'm trying to place new JPG images (coin scans/photos) in my tables and am
getting in an error box
_______________________________________________
– The operation of the OLE object failed.
The OLE server may not be registered.
To register the OLE server, reinstall it.

I had some images in a few of my records previous to the conversion and, of
course, they don't work either. But when I delete these old OLE objects and try
to add new ones, I, of course, get the same error as above.

I haven't a clue as to how I would register or reinstall the OLE server, since I
have no idea what or where it is.

I assumed that everything was installed when I installed Office 2010.
What can I do to get this to work?
Denny
