Did you see my previous message?
You need a mechanism to update the status bar. It could
be any suitable Event that occurs at the time that you
want it to be updated. My example suggested the
Form_Current Event to write the value to the StatusBar
and the Form_Close Event to Clear the StatusBar. That
would cover addding deleting or filtering that could
affect the RecordCount.
NoteYou would not want to leave a message like "27 Recs"
showing after the form has closed.
What does the Spec say about the StatuBar?
