Bls: Bls: [MS_AccessPros] Condition to use recordset methods

 

Thanx Bil...

So can we say that Access with Queries method is better than Visual Basic (not VBA)...?
As far as i know Access and VB has the same DB Engine, JET...but VB doesn't have query feature...
In VB all data processing has to be written in module, it's the same way in Access with VBA...
but because Access has better way, thoose data processing are better to be done in queries...

Queries are always faster than looping, but sometimes there is a need to loop. My standard is do it in a query if possible. Loop as a last resort.
