Connie-
Is the name of the file " Listed Statistics--Copy last one to begin" ?? If so,
try adding ".xls" on the end. Also, are you sure you have full privileges to
Backup\Susie ??

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Error 3051
I am exporting a query using vb. I went to the folder that I'd like it exported
to and cut and pasted the address. The Access program that I'm using is in
C:\Documents and Settings\AGENT\My Documents\Backup\Connie\Access\DatabaseData.
The description of the code: "...cannot open or write to the file 'C:\Documents
And Settings\AGENT\My Documents\Backup\Susie\Listed Statistics--Copy last one to
begin'. It is opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to
view or write its data."
My code is:
DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel8, _
"qListingsRawData", _
"C:\Documents and Settings\AGENT\My Documents\Backup\Susie\Listed
Statistics--Copy last one to begin"
Thanks!
Connie
