[MS_AccessPros] Refresh or Requery?

I have a continuous form (1st form), based on a query, that has about 47 records listed. I have a button on each record of the continuous form that will open the details of that specific record in a 2nd form. On the 2nd form that opens I can modify the details of the record that was just opened. On close of the 2nd form the 1st form shows with some of the updated details showing but not all of them. If I go up to the ribbon and hit the "Refresh All" button the rest of the details show up. I tried to put in a macro on the "on Current" form property. It did not up date all the fields. I tried "requery" (I got an error about running 19 times). I tried refresh, refresh record. None of them worked. I could not find a "Refresh all" macro.

also, On Current might not have been correct property as I believe it ran the macro every time I touched the form.

What do I have to do to re run the underlying query for a continous form. The field in the form that is giving me troubles is a field that had the join property set to 3 in the underlying property. I believe it is a LEFT Join. The other fields in the 1st continuous form do update when I close the 2nd form.

What am I missing.
