If I had to debug this, I would start with the query for the report. Design the report and check the RecordSource property. Run the query. Same issue?
I would also change the query to return just a few records … where CustomerID < 5, so the report would only be a few pages. Does that work OK?
Also inspect the VBA code (if any) in the report's code-behind. As a test you can comment out everything.

I sent this earlier but it is not showing up in my groups messages, so I apologize if this is a duplicate.
I have an Access 365 application that I created several years ago (I am not a professional) with a FE and a BE. One of the modules produces a PDF report after I enter a lot of data. It has worked for years now and then suddenly it does not. Instead of outputting the report it spins with a message at the bottom of the screen saying "formatting page". That message never stops and ultimately the OS will report that Access is not responding.
I do not know how to proceed with trouble shooting this and would appreciate any help.
