Re: [MS_AccessPros] Getting unique records in access 2013

Jorge-

If you want to include details about each unit, then it's not possible when you create a query on owners and units because the owners who own multiple units will show up once for each unit.

Please explain in more detail what you want the output to look like.  Try constructing a sentence that describes what you want.  Something like:

"Display all owners and their email address who own units in resort A."

Create a totals/group by query. Don't include any fields/columns that aren't necessary. If you have any questions, please provide your table and field names.

Hi Folks, I hope you are all having a fantastic Labor Day!!!

I need some help.

I have query that returns multiple records.

It is a list of owners at a resort.

The owners can have many units at the resort so an owner will be shown multiple times.

Every owner has just one email.

I would like to see only one record per owner.

How do I get my query to return only the one record for owner base on the email field.

Thanks.
