RE: [MS_AccessPros] Re: Errors after update to Office365

Hmm, does seem like a Early Binding issue.  What are the rest of the References you have checked?  I would also suggest you switch to Late Binding which should take care of the issues with Outlook and Excel.  See…

Crystal and Gina,

I'm not sure what you mean by trusting "everything."

What references should I have checked? Amongst the ones I have checked:

Microsoft Access 14.0 Object Library

Microsoft Office 15.0 access database Engine Object

Microsoft Outlook 15.0 Object Library

Microsoft Excel 15.0 Object Library

I do have both 2010 and 2013 versions of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc. I only have 2010 for Access. I only have the new version of Outlook.

Possibly related, the E-mail icon, under the External tab, is grayed out, even when I have a table open.

I found this on another forum, that talks about whether Access or Outlook is being run with admin privileges - see this thread http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=281087

It's not. I don't have admin privileges, so I rely on IT tech support to try this. It didn't work the first time we tried this, but may not have done it right.

Adam

Adam, I just looked up your original post.

"It is a trusted document. It worked before the upgrade to Office365.
This seems to happen just when I have code trying to send, or when
trying to save an Excel file. In the latter case, the code I have
manipulating the Excel file before the save works. The rest of the code
seems to work."

"I don't understand what it is about trusting that would just make those
lines of code not work?"

Are you sure you are allowing everything?

warm regards,
crystal
