Are you opening a linked table or a query? If a query, what's the SQL?

John,
I can open the backend and edit data directly but if I open a table from the frontend I cannot edit and on the status bar it says This Recordset is not updateable. No error message.

What sort of error messages are you getting? Can you open the back end directly and update data?

I have a Access 2010 database that for some reason has become un-updatable through the front-end. It was working fine yesterday. I ran the compact and repair on both sides. I tried refreshing the links too but to no avail.
Any ideas why this would happen?
Pretty darn, confused!
