If you decide to use Duane's function, set up your OpenArgs with keywords:

NumRec=xxxxx;ClearButtons=-1

lngRecordNo = ParseAttrib(Me.OpenArgs, "NumRec", ";")

varClear = ParseAttrib(Me.OpenArgs, "ClearButtons", ";")
