To use a spreadsheet as a data source in Access, you will have a linked
table. When the linked table was set up it looks like it was linked to a
worksheet named StatsDoctored. It is possible that the exporting application
is not naming the worksheet with that name.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Error Message - 'Not a valid name'
I have a problem with a database which uses a spreadsheet as the data
source. The spreadsheet is generated by our web site statistical
package. The Access queries and reports have been in use for about three
years.
Currently I see an error report on some queries:
" 'StatsDoctored$' is not a valid name. "
None of the objects has a name even close to that.
A search of the spreadsheet did not find the name.
Where do I look?
Many thanks,
Robin Chapple
