Re: [MS_AccessPros] Error Message - 'Not a valid name'

Robin-

What is the SQL of one of the queries that is getting the error? Do you
get the error when you try to open the query in Datasheet view or when you
use it in a Report?

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Error Message - 'Not a valid name'

I have a problem with a database which uses a spreadsheet as the data
source. The spreadsheet is generated by our web site statistical
package. The Access queries and reports have been in use for about three
years.

Currently I see an error report on some queries:

" 'StatsDoctored$' is not a valid name. "

None of the objects has a name even close to that.

A search of the spreadsheet did not find the name.

Where do I look?

Many thanks,

Robin Chapple
