Hi Bill,
you're welcome ;) happy to help
I should have figured you would set properties, what was I thinking?!?
I am glad it works -- now we know how to get around the 2010 compatibility issues ;)
Warm Regards,
Crystal

(: have an awesome day :)

You don't have to set any properties. When the ACCDE opens the first time after it is created, the startup form's Load event sets everything. So in essence, all that you set was changed to the way I want it in the first place. But thanks anyway. :O)
I have uploaded the 2007 version to my website.

To do that (in case others don't know how) click on Get External Data just like you would import any object. pick mnuBlank.mdb and when the objects box opens click on Options. That expands the objects box so you can see other things to import besides the usual things. Select menus and toolbars.

I wrote a program a long time ago to store the main form and control properties so a new form could be created from them. If mnuBlank is a complicated form, I can try to find it. With all the 2010 backward issues, I need to find it sometime anyway!

One of the procedures is to define properties for cases just like this ;)
