I have a textbox in the header that I use to display the chosen color when adding a new train record and I push the backcolor value of that textbox into the new record, I then clear the textbox. Wouldn't be hard to display the "current" records color there. But it would look so much more "polished" if I could apply the colors per record, about 10 or 12 records are visible at one time, they're one liners. ( That is one advantage of Excel cell formatting!:-)
