There is a way to adjust the source code to 64-bit. There also is the issue of any 32-bit ActiveX controls you may be using.

There are many resources online, such as this and this.

Of course nowadays you can have an AI help you with it as well.

I have a multi-user Access database that our group has been using for over 10 years. The company is upgrading individual computers to the 64 bit version of Access. My 32 bit Access program won't work in this environment. Does anyone know if there is a way to make a 32 bit program run in a 64 bit environment, or if there is a way to convert the DB to 64 bit?

In our office we have a few Windows 11 Professional systems and one Windows 11 Home system.

 

I just did an upgrade to our Access Database and now, for some reason some of the upgraded buttons that open forms will not work.

I also tried to click on the form directly and it still would not open.  The form that will not open is a new form.

 

Any thoughts as to a solution?
