[MS_AccessPros] Does Access 2010's limits increase with SQL Server on BackEnd

 

Would any of you please advise me on this:

I do know that Access 2010 has 255 field limits on a table and queries. It probably has some limits on the number of fields on the report as well.

My question is, if I put the back end on a SQL Server, do my Access front end gain more capabilities, as to the number of fields or statistical functions?

If it doesn't, is there a way for me to gain more capabilities with Access Front End.
