RE: [MS_AccessPros] Run all queries in FE before distribute the FE (after compacting & repairing it)

Hendra-

That's not absolutely necessary. During a compact and repair, Access will
delete all temporary objects. When you run a query - particularly a complex
one - Access will sometimes decide to save a "compiled" version of the query
to improve performance. If you scan TableDefs in code, you can find these
"temp" objects by looking for queries whose names start with ~sq. If you
delete all temp objects just before distributing the database, Access will
rebuild and save this "compiled" version the first time the user runs the
query.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Run all queries in FE before distribute the FE
(after compacting & repairing it)

Hi Everyone,... :)

When we have finished the developing of our application (FE), do we have to
run all queries in it before we distribute the FE (after compacting &
repairing)..? i read an article about this technique,..but is that really
important to do..? how if we have hundreds queries ? it need much times and
more patient to run all queries one by one...
