Re: [MS_AccessPros] Alternatives to Microsoft's Access Synchronization

The EQL offering is "$35/month for 1 user at a time"
As I understand it, once you've installed their MS Access plugin and set
up things on their server, you can use it in two ways. One is to
synchronize your local copy of a database with their "master" copy. This
is similar to MS Access synchronization, but it can be initiated by any
user by clicking a button. The other way to use it (once things are set
up) is to use an Access DB on their server using a web interface - no
need for a local copy of Access
(http://eqldata.com/kb/1066/onweb-overview,
http://eqldata.com/kb/1067/onweb-overview-details ).
For the client I'm working with, 1 user at a time would be more than
enough, and could provide a way for managers to get an occasional view
of the database (probably via custom form limiting what they can do) via
the web without needing Access installed.
