Kevin-

Well, the limit is more than 2 BILLION.  Let's be conservative and say the app has to last at least 10 years.  There are roughly 3,650 days in 10 years.  2 Billion divided by 3,650 gives you up to 588 THOUSAND requests a day.  Do you really think you'll exceed that??!??

What if the auto key number reach this limit? What do you normally do for handling this problem? As a tour company, we have many requests to send to the suppliers every day, I am afraid this limit will be reached in few years... Thanks.

Kevin

Kevin-

The largest number you can store in a Long Integer is 2,147,483,647.  If you need to store bigger integers, use Decimal.

Dear All,
I have a number filed in Long Integer. My problem is that this field doesn't allow me to input more than 10 digits. What I have to do? Thanks in advance.
