Thanks to both of you for the input. My past career taught me to make the client think about what they want and the easiest way to do that was to get them to help you document what they wanted. I have some "blueprint documents" in Word from back then but I suspect there are some templates floating around.
If I end up modifying my old ones and they work out, I will post them.
